Bereits zum achten Mal hat das führende Fachmagazin Kirmes & Park Revue Europas wichtigsten Preis an die besten Freizeitparks des Kontinents vergeben.
Anlässlich der Fachmesse Euro Attractions Show, die dieses Jahr vom 17. bis 19. September in Paris stattfindet, wurden die besten Themenparks, die atemberaubendsten Neuheiten und die spektakulärsten Attraktionen und Achterbahnen ausgezeichnet
Erst zum vierten Mal ist ein Ehrenpreis vergeben worden. Mit dem „Life-Time Award 2019“ wurden die Verdienste der beiden Comic-Zeichner Albert Uderzo und René Goscinny gewürdigt. Mit „Astérix & Obélix“ revolutionierten sie ab 1959 nicht nur die europäische Comic-Szene, sondern trugen auch maßgeblich zur Realisierung des Parc Astérix im Jahr 1989 bei.
Der European Star Award ist von der Fachzeitschrift „Kirmes & Park Revue“ 2012 ins Leben gerufen worden, um jährlich innovative Ideen auszuzeichnen und unternehmerischen Mut zu fördern.

For the eighth time, Europe's most important prize was awarded to the best theme parks on the continent.
On the occasion of the trade exhibition Euro Attractions Show, this year taking place from the 17th to 19th September in Paris, the most noteworthy theme parks, the best novelties, and the most spectacular attractions and coasters were honoured.
For the fourth time, a "Lifetime Award" was given. This year's honorary award was bestowed on both comic-designers Albert Uderzo and René Goscinny for their accomplishments. They revolutionised not only the European comic scene with “Astérix & Obélix” from 1959, but also contributed significantly to the realisation of Parc Astérix in 1989.
The European Star Award was launched by the trade magazine Kirmes & Park Revue in 2012, in order to bring attention to innovative ideas and entrepreneurial courage within the industry annually.
